June isn't June without the annual State exams and this year StoryLab helped Studyclix.ie to cement its place as the media's leading 'go to' source for exam analysis.
We worked with the brilliant Studyclix.ie team to deliver daily reaction to the exam papers from students and Studyclix.ie expert teachers – all issued immediately after each Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate exam.
The analysis, led by Studyclix founder and teacher Luke Saunders and his team, was carried daily in national publications including The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Irish Examiner and BreakingNews.ie.
As an expertly positioned source, the Studyclix brand has become synonymous with reliable media coverage of the exam papers.
Since Studyclix was founded five years ago, the online exam resource has also been making the news with its annual student attitudes survey.
The results of this year’s survey in May revealed that over half of Leaving Cert students have developed mental or physical health issues as a result of exam pressure.
The survey, which was answered by almost 3,000 students, also revealed that 53 per cent of school teens spend more than three hours on their smartphones every day, which may also be contributing to stress levels.
News of the survey was carried by The Irish Times, the Irish Sun, the Irish Mirror and the Irish Examiner.
