The aim of Studyclix is to help students get top marks in their exams and StoryLab’s aim is to get Studyclix top coverage in the media.
The experts from the hugely popular online exam paper learning resource were on hand this month to offer daily verdicts on the Leaving Cert and Junior cycle exam papers.
The opinions of Studyclix expert teachers were featured almost every day in a string of publications including the Irish Times, Irish Examiner, Farmers’ Journal, Irish Sun and Irish Mirror as well as popular online news outlet The Journal.
StoryLab worked with Studyclix to issue a daily bulletin to exam desks which included expert comment and reaction.
The comments helped media to understand the exam papers with reliable opinion and analysis from a trusted source.
In May, Studyclix also published its annual Students Attitudes Survey which took the pulse of our students with a series of questions about their views and aspirations.
The 2017 survey revealed that more than 50% of Irish secondary school students are addicted to their smart phones.
The story saw all the national media cover the results in print, broadcast and online with coverage by RTE, the Irish Times, Irish Independent and a clever headline in The Irish Sun that read ‘Teenage Clicks’.
Published just two weeks before the State exams began, the survey’s release led to a follow-up opinion piece in the Sunday Independent by Studyclix founder Luke Saunders.
In total, 35 separate pieces of media coverage with over 400,000 verified coverage views helped to cement Studyclix’s position as a leading exams and study-aid specialist and a go-to source for trusted, expert opinion.
