StoryLab has been working with Technology Ireland Software Skillnet to raise awareness of a pioneering new IT skills programme for women.
Women ReBOOT is aimed at talented, professional women who took career breaks from the ICT sector. It aims to help get women back into full-time roles, through a mix of coaching, online learning, networking skills and work placements in leading tech companies.
Real stories of real women who wanted to return to IT roles has been key to unlocking nationwide publicity for Women ReBOOT, which is holding information evenings in Cork and Dublin in October.
We worked with Software Skillnet in identifying and telling the stories of several women who have successfully returned to the tech sector thanks to an earlier pilot of the Women ReBOOT programme. Companies who support the programme also offered insights.
Coverage landed in eight different media publications including the Irish Times, Irish Independent, Silicon Republic, Irish Tech News and Cork’s Evening Echo and Cork Independent.
