A creative photoshoot was called for to draw attention to the launch of the new site – which alerts job seekers to hundreds of fantastic job vacancies across the Western counties.

The WDC has done stellar work to shape the agenda around remote working and also to inform people about their options when considering a move to the West of Ireland.

The promotion of westernjobs.ie required an imaginative approach to imagery, one which needed to grab the attention of national media picture editors and drive awareness of the launch.

With the help of Cleveroffice.ie, we set up an early evening office at Kellystown Beach in Sligo to take advantage of a sustained and gorgeous spell of warm weather.

The sun dropped and at exactly the right moment, photographer James Connolly captured a perfect snapshot of work/life harmony.

The launch of the site drew widespread media coverage with 87 items secured across broadcast, online and print media, reaching an audience of 6.8m people. The launch was covered by RTE, the Irish Independent, Ireland AM, The Sunday Times and Newstalk.
