Content: Bord Bia
What they wanted.
Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, wanted to produce an engaging suite of written and visual content around its annual flagship Bloom Festival in Dublin’s Phoenix Park. This content would be journalistic in tone and packaged into a bright, accessible 24-page magazine with readable features and stories about the event, those behind it, and those taking part. The idea was to attract as wide an audience as possible to Bloom including those who may not typically have been drawn to the event.
What we did.
Together with the Bord Bia team, StoryLab devised stories that would emphasise the wide appeal of Bloom and its many different attractions. Pictures and infographics were a key part of the project as well as concise, readable storytelling. The result was a standalone supplement that was published in the Sunday Independent and consumed by a readership of almost one million people.
What they said.
“Dealing with StoryLab was an exemplary experience. They were adaptable, receptive and very able in assisting with a very large-scale project on tight turnaround times. They produced first-rate content and design which we were absolutely confident to put before a national audience. The agency was extremely friendly and accessible, and a superb asset in our public relations effort.”
