PR: ACORNS
What they wanted.
Fitzsimons Consulting, driven by founder Paula Fitzsimons, is dedicated to making a difference in the Irish business ecosystem through its focus on entrepreneurship and growth. One of the team’s specialities is creating and delivering business development programmes supported by the public sector and private clients. Three of its highly-successful, innovative initiatives are Going for Growth, ACORNS and Back for Business. Fitzsimons Consulting wants to increase the awareness of all three programmes across different demographics in order to continue to build these brands and increase both the quality and the quantity of applications.
What we did.
StoryLab has worked with Fitzsimons Consulting since 2016 initially creating compelling case studies of participants in the ACORNS programme for the participants’ own use and to raise the profile of the progamme generally. We were then entrusted to run the PR campaign for ACORNS that year and for every year since adding the Going for Growth and Back for Business programmes to our portfolio. We continue to carry out all PR and media relations needs for all three programmes gaining widespread national and local media coverage in order to drive quality applications but also to build solid brands for all three initiatives.
What they said.
“We are delighted to use the services of StoryLab for all our PR and media relations needs. We find that the StoryLab team absolutely understands the brief and the need to reach out widely to ensure that the maximum number of people get to hear of the opportunity to apply for a place on the various initiatives. It is also important that we have suitable and eligible applications for the various initiatives. To this end, StoryLab is able to understand the subtle differences between the various peer support initiatives, the ideal candidates for each and the appropriate media to reach them. In addition, Storylab’s customer service, speed of response and reliability is second to none. I would recommend them without hesitation.”
