What they wanted.

CeADAR is Ireland’s National Centre for Artificial Intelligence and is the only Irish centre selected to join the European Network of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Based at University College Dublin, CeADAR is an industry-led technology centre funded by Enterprise Ireland and the IDA. It has more than 90 member companies and the centre’s focus is on delivering industry prototypes, technology demonstrators and state-of-the-art reviews. CeADAR wants to raise the profile of the centre, its cutting-edge work and collaborations. It wanted to ‘step out of the shadows’ and demonstrate to potential collaborators how the centre can help them. 

 

What we did.

StoryLab started working with CeADAR at the start of 2019 with a focus on raising the profile of the centre as well as the breakthrough work it is carrying out in the national and international media. We work with Centre Director Edward McDonnell and Operations Manager Angela Ennis to discover the best stories about CeADAR and its collaborations with client companies. Some of those stories include CeADAR’s selection to join a new European network of AI innovation hubs, its role in assisting in the fight against Covid-19 and the story around the funding of its new super computer – which was picked up and tweeted by tech entrepreneur Michael Dell. During 2020, StoryLab formed a more strategic alliance with CeADAR and will be focused on continuing to raise its profile during 2021.
