Representing Sligo in the National Enterprise Awards
StoryLab is thrilled to be representing Sligo in the National Enterprise Awards 2020. The national judging process took place last Thursday, November 12 with StoryLab's Martha Kearns presenting to the judges.
This is the 22nd year of the National Enterprise Awards which are organised by the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs). The awards were set up to celebrate the achievements of Ireland’s micro-enterprise sector.
We were delighted to have been nominated as the Sligo representative at the end of February and were looking forward to the national finals which were to be held at a black tie gala dinner event at the Mansion House in May.
However, Covid hit and the national judging process for the finals had to be delayed. They are back up and running now – in a virtual world – and it is hoped that we can get together for the finals in early 2021.
In the meantime, we are chuffed to be representing Sligo at a national level and to be competing against finalists from every other local authority area in the country. Go us!
