Studyclix scores an A+ with media exam coverage
Studyclix cemented its position as an authoritative thought leader with students, parents and media, thanks to a daily feed of expert exam commentary around June’s State examinations.
The online exams study specialist worked with StoryLab ahead of the Leaving Cert and Junior Cycle exams to be ready for the exam blitz, lining up a panel of top subject experts to give breaking reaction to each day’s exam papers.
With newsdesks and education reporters hungry for exam news, we worked closely with Studyclix co-founder Luke Saunders and his team to craft key information and quotes from Studyclix subject experts, all full-time teachers.
Our experience on busy national newsdesks ensured the releases went out on time – at the right time – and landed at the most opportune moment for pickup by journalists.
The twice-daily news releases showcased Studyclix’s expertise with snap verdicts on that day’s papers and relevant news angles arising from them – and that led to almost blanket coverage across national and regional media.
StoryLab’s dedicated press office function for Studyclix saw us field dozens of calls and inquiries for media interviews across print, online and broadcast, with the trusted Studyclix experts undertaking further interviews and sharing their exam insights.
Highlights:
- 137 items of media coverage over two weeks
- Daily coverage in the Irish Times, Irish Independent, Irish Examiner, The Journal, Newstalk, Today FM, Spin, FM104, Red FM and scores of regional stations and platforms
- The coverage reached an audience of more than 32 million people over 9 days
