Take off for AAG’s big news
Shannon-based Atlantic Aviation Group (AAG) had a busy start to 2021 with a blitz of global publicity around a series of exciting company announcements.
The company achieved media take-off with the news it has acquired a former Flybe maintenance business in the UK. And, working with StoryLab, it put itself firmly on the arrivals board with news of two new boardroom appointments.
AAG is a homegrown success story – the company has become a major employer in the Shannon industrial region with more than 315 staff.
So, the news that it is growing with a new UK business acquisition piqued the attention of business and aviation journalists in Ireland, the UK and further afield.
In Ireland, the story took off in The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Irish Examiner and in local media.
We all know a great story can grow wings, so it was no surprise to see AAG’s news picked by the world’s most influential aviation media outlets including Flight International and Flight Global, UK Aviation News, Aviation Week and Jane’s Defence Weekly – the world’s most influential aerospace and defence publication.
Collectively the coverage was placed before a readership of more than 47 million people, ensuring that AAG’s profile as a market-leading aviation specialist was bolstered and significantly enhanced before a worldwide audience.
